What Happened
The Mazda CX-5, a compact crossover SUV, has achieved cumulative global production and sales of five million units as of the end of 2025. It is the third Mazda model to reach this mark, following the Mazda323 and Mazda3. The CX-5 incorporates Mazda's SkyactivTechnology and Kodo design philosophy, and its all-new third-generation model was unveiled in Europe in July 2025.
