McLaren Reveals MCL-HY Hypercar for 2027 WEC and Exclusive MCL-HY GTR Track Car

What Happened
McLaren Racing has announced that the McLaren MCL-HY will be entered by the McLaren Hypercar Team in the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, marking the brand's return to the top class of sports car racing. Alongside the race car, McLaren Automotive will offer the MCL-HY GTR track car variant and a supporting track day program under the name Project: Endurance, providing clients with exclusive access to the team's endurance racing program. The full reveal of both cars is scheduled for May 4.
