What Happened
Morgan has unveiled the Supersport 400, a new flagship model delivering 402 bhp from a BMW B58 inline-six turbocharged engine. It is the first production Morgan to exceed 400 bhp and accelerates from 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds. The car is built on the CX-Generation bonded-aluminium platform and comes with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The Supersport 400 includes Morgan's Dynamic Handling Pack as standard, featuring adjustable Nitron dampers with 24 clicks of damping adjustment, revised suspension geometry, and model-specific calibration. An optional limited-slip differential and a new high-flow Active Performance Exhaust System are available. The car rides on new forged 19-inch Sportlite alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires.
