Nio expects its ES8 to pass 140,000 deliveries this week
Nio says the ES8 is approaching 140,000 cumulative deliveries after the recent addition of a five-seat version.

What Happened
Nio expects the third-generation ES8 to reach 140,000 deliveries during the week of August 17. Yang Bo, the company’s head of user operations, disclosed the target in a public Weibo post without giving further details.
The ES8 had reached 130,000 deliveries on July 22, according to Nio. That leaves 10,000 vehicles between the earlier milestone and the target announced for this week.
Nio introduced a five-seat version on July 9 and began deliveries the next day. Its starting price is 382,800 yuan with a battery, or 274,800 yuan under the company’s battery-as-a-service plan.
