Why this matters
NIO's battery swap network is a core part of its EV ownership experience in China, giving drivers the option to exchange a depleted battery instead of plugging in. With 3,999 swap stations built and more than 110 million swaps already completed, the infrastructure is heavily used by NIO customers, so each new station expands the practical reach of the network.
