What Happened
Fantic Factory Racing Enduro will field Théo Espinasse and Thibault Giraudon in the Portuguese double-header while Riccardo Pasquato continues recovering from a right radius fracture. The 19-year-old Italian had been a standout in the Youth class with two wins and four podiums before the injury. Team manager Antonio Specia confirmed the decision to delay his return until fully healed.
“Riccardo has our full support. It is a pity not to have him with us in Portugal, but we are all on the same page when it comes to giving him all the time he needs to come back to his 100%, rather than rushing his return.”

Valentin Mersin, the Team Specia Academy rider aboard a Fantic XE 125, sits fourth in the standings after his maiden win in Finland.
Why this matters
Pasquato had two wins and four podiums early in the Youth World Championship season; his absence could affect the standings and the team's performance.
