What Happened
Engineered on a dedicated Electric Compact Architecture (ECA), the rear-wheel-drive city car was shaped by Mercedes-Benz design studios. Outer dimensions span up to 2,764 millimeters in length, 1,669 millimeters in width, and 1,555 millimeters in height across an 1,875-millimeter wheelbase, retaining an agile 6.95-meter minimum turning circle.
Traction comes from a 60-kilowatt rear motor matched to a 35.7-kilowatt-hour lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) pack containing cells supplied by CATL. The platform yields nearly 400 kilometers of range on the CLTC protocol, alongside DC rapid charging capable of lifting state of charge from 10% to 80% within 20 minutes.
Following regulatory registration through batch 410 of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the vehicle will make its public debut on October 12 in Paris, preceding Chinese retail deliveries scheduled for November.
