What Happened
The order includes 9 Urbino 12 hydrogen and 10 articulated Urbino 18 hydrogen buses. They will be powered by hydrogen fuel cells feeding an electric drivetrain, with 160 kW motors on the 12-meter models and 240 kW on the articulated ones. The buses will feature camera systems replacing mirrors, driver safety aids, passenger comfort enhancements, and accessibility solutions like ramps and wheelchair spaces.
Cooperation between Solaris and SWK Mobil Krefeld begins.
SWK Mobil orders 10 Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen buses.
