What Happened
Swiss company Gössi Carreisen AG took delivery of a new Setra S 517 HDH touring coach with 54 seats, a glass roof, and driver assistance systems including MirrorCam. The family business, founded in 1975, now operates 17 Setra vehicles across Europe.
Norwegian bus operator Team Tour completed a nine-day tour through Germany with six Setra coaches from all model series, including a 50-year-old S 140 from 1976, the first Setra bus delivered to Norway. Owner Jan Såtvedt, a long-time Setra fan, says that a journey in a Setra is always an experience for passengers and drivers alike.
Belgian company De Zigeuner purchased its first Setra touring coach, an S 516 HDH with 51 Ambassador seats, a panoramic roof, and 360-degree cameras. Managing Director Tom De Troyer says the investment underscores their commitment to a premium travel experience.
