Arzt Reisen, Ehrlich Touristik, and Jenssen Mobility order new Setra ComfortClass coaches

Three European coach operators are renewing their fleets with Setra ComfortClass vehicles. Arzt Reisen of Seligenporten is adding two S 515 HD coaches, Ehrlich Touristik of Großheubach is taking two S 516 HD coaches, and Jenssen Mobility of Fjellhamar, Norway, has ordered two S 515 HD coaches. The vehicles will handle airport shuttles, charter trips, school transport, and group travel.

Arzt Reisen is supplying Lufthansa AG with its two S 515 HD express coaches for the route between Munich and Nuremberg, running ten times a day and covering around 350,000 kilometers (217,000 miles) per coach each year. The interiors match Lufthansa's corporate identity, and the coaches include the Attention Assist (AtAs) system, which warns the driver of possible distraction or fatigue. The long-established company from Seligenporten, founded 80 years ago by Ludwig Arzt as a freight transport business, operates a fleet of 70 Setra vehicles and is one of the largest privately owned bus operators in the Nuremberg region.

Ehrlich Touristik received its two S 516 HD coaches at the Daimler Buses Customer Center in Neu-Ulm, where they were blessed by a priest. Each coach has 48 seats with individually adjustable leather headrests and footrests. The family-owned, second-generation company will use them for charter services and its own travel program, including day trips, study tours, and customized group travel. Managing Director Stefan Ehrlich said, "Setra coaches combine comfort, elegance, and quality at the highest level, ensuring that our passengers feel at ease from the very first minute," and added, "We want our drivers and passengers to travel safely at all times." He also said, "My mother would have been very proud that we chose Setra once again, because she was a great admirer of the brand."

Jenssen Mobility, based in Fjellhamar, has added two S 515 HD coaches with 49 seats each for charter services, rail replacement transport, corporate events, school transportation, and sightseeing tours. The company has bought Setra vehicles since 2013, when it acquired two double-decker buses, and its fleet now includes 12 Setra vehicles. Managing Director Frode Jenssen cited high product quality, excellent lifecycle cost efficiency, and a focus on customer satisfaction as reasons for the order, and said, "Our goal is to become Norway's leading bus operator while operating the best coaches available on the market."
