What Happened
Visitors to the Abenteuer Allrad off-road and adventure exhibition can see several highlights from Mercedes-Benz Trucks until June 7, 2026. Content creator Tobias Wagner, with over 160,000 followers, is showcasing his fully completed eActros 600 expedition vehicle with a custom Bliss Mobil motorhome body. Hellgeth, a partner of Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, is displaying several Unimog and Arocs expedition vehicles, including a Luxury Unimog anniversary model, three Unimog TenereX models, and an Arocs 6x6 Dakar Rally Service Truck.
The eActros 600, built at the Mercedes-Benz Trucks plant in Wörth am Rhein, has been modified with additional charging and off-road equipment. Wagner plans to cover approximately 45,000 kilometres across more than 35 countries, requiring no more than 80 charging stops. The expedition is expected to last around one year and would be the first round-the-world trip in a fully battery-electric truck.
Why this matters
The expedition aims to demonstrate the real-world capabilities of battery-electric long-haul transport under demanding conditions, potentially becoming the first circumnavigation of the globe in a fully electric truck.
