Continental today inaugurated the expansion of its tire plant in Rayong, Thailand, with an investment of more than 300 million euros (13 billion Thai Baht). The expansion adds annual capacity for 3 million passenger car and light truck tires and creates 600 new jobs. The event also marks the start of local production of radial motorcycle tires at the facility, expanding the plant's portfolio from diagonal to radial motorcycle tires.
