What Happened
The Donkervoort D8 GTO Bilster Berg Edition features a unique carbon fibre nose design and is based on the test car that broke the lap record for street-legal production cars at the Bilster Berg circuit. Technical upgrades include an improved engine with better throttle response, an ultra-light flywheel, and a race clutch, along with a new Intrax shock absorber and an extra roll cage for increased chassis stiffness. The car also rides on specially developed Hankook semi-slick tires and gains a rear anti-roll bar.
Inside, the Bilster Berg Edition gets a data logging display with LCD and GPS, a numbered type plate bearing the owner's name, and additional carbon fibre options for further weight savings. The car is a full-options model, allowing buyers to choose interior and exterior colors.
