Gennaro Utech Misses EMX125 Podium by Two Points at MXGP of Latvia

What Happened
In the EMX125 class at Kegums, Gennaro Utech placed sixth in race 1 and third in race 2, earning fourth overall. Teammate Bertram Thorius finished 11th and fifth for sixth overall. Both riders now sit fourth and fifth in the championship standings.
In the MXGP class, the Fantic Factory Racing team struggled. Alberto Forato finished 20th and 13th, while Brent Van doninck ended 15th and DNF. The team looks ahead to the GP of Italy.

Utech missed the overall podium by two points.
“It was a good weekend and a great race 2, after a strong start. I came out of the first corner in fourth, moved straight into third and tried to push as hard as I could all the way to the finish in the fight for the overall podium. Unfortunately, I ended up fourth overall, missing out on the podium by just two points.”
