SAIC's IM Motors has opened pre-sales for the new L6 sedan, with customer incentives taking the entry price to RMB 219,900.

What Happened
IM Motors is taking pre-orders for five versions of the new L6. List prices run from RMB 229,900 to RMB 279,900, while the announced incentive lowers the effective band to RMB 219,900–269,900.
The sedan uses an 800-volt electrical architecture. Single-motor versions pair 76-kWh and 93-kWh packs with claimed CLTC ranges of 725 km and 850 km; the flagship dual-motor car uses a 103-kWh pack and reaches 100 kph in 2.74 seconds.
IM Motors equips the L6 with laser radar and a Momenta-enabled driver-assistance system. A limited Jimmy Choo edition is also part of the pre-sale programme, with two versions priced at RMB 234,900 and RMB 249,900.
Why this matters
The L6 is a high-volume test of IM Motors' 800-volt platform and software-led positioning. A broad battery and powertrain spread lets the brand cover both long-range buyers and performance customers without changing the basic sedan package.
