What Happened
The new facility, operated by the Marelli Motherson Lighting India (MMLI) joint venture, is dedicated to high-performance exterior lighting systems. It is the joint venture's second plant in Sanand and introduces first-of-its-kind technologies such as single-piece end-to-end lamps spanning nearly two meters and India's slimmest headlamp modules at 17 millimeters. The plant also features rooftop solar panels and has planted 1,700 trees as part of its sustainability efforts.
