What Happened
Mercedes-Benz Trucks is expanding its eActros portfolio with the new eActros Lowliner, a tractor unit with a particularly low coupling height designed for high-volume transport using mega trailers. The Lowliner is available with either two or three LFP battery packs, achieving installed capacities of 414 kWh or 621 kWh respectively. The vehicle is based on the eActros 600 technology, which has been in series production since late 2024, and offers a range of up to 500 kilometers for the three-pack variant at 40 metric tons gross weight.
