The Irizar i3 BEV and i4 CNG receive Environmental Product Declarations
5
What Happened
Irizar has obtained Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for two models in its Efficient range: the Irizar i3 BEV, a 100% electric coach for intercity use, and the Irizar i4 CNG, a versatile metropolitan vehicle powered by compressed natural gas. The declarations were developed using a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) compliant with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044, assessing environmental impacts from raw material extraction to end of life. The EPDs follow ISO 14025 and Product Category Rules for buses and coaches.

Why this matters
These EPDs quantify the environmental impact from raw material extraction to end of life, reinforcing Irizar's sustainability commitment and bringing the total number of Irizar vehicles with EPDs to five.
