What Happened
On August 14, SINOTRUK hosted its 2026 Family Open Day on the theme 'Families and Company United, Dreams Shared' at its Science and Technology Building campus. More than 100 employees and their family members attended. Liu Wei, Deputy Party Secretary and President, and Jiang Pengpeng, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the Trade Union, spoke warmly with families, congratulated students on outstanding college entrance examination results, and thanked family members for their long-term support.
Representatives of five employee families from different business areas took the stage together. The event highlighted how parents' pursuit of excellence at work and children's late-night study represent two generations of striving. Students shared heartfelt 'Letters of Love,' then held flowers, opened their arms to hug their parents, and expressed gratitude and blessings to the family members who had accompanied them.
“Just as SINOTRUK people build every vehicle well, I will take every step of my life carefully and steadfastly.”
- Both of my parents work at SINOTRUK. Our family tradition of diligence and hard work has shaped my rigorous and conscientious attitude toward study.
- My father's day-after-day dedication to his work taught me the meaning of responsibility.
- When I saw on the news that SINOTRUK trucks were being exported around the world, I finally understood what an extraordinary thing my parents were doing.
- I hope to have more opportunities to engage with the automotive industry in the future and contribute to China's manufacturing industry.
To encourage students bound for university, the Group presented them with models of the SINOTRUK New Yellow River truck and suitcases bearing the SINOTRUK logo, expressing hope they would maintain passion, stay grounded in their studies, achieve success, and repay their families and country. The employee families also toured the SINOTRUK Museum and the Shandong Heavy Industry Future Technology Exhibition Hall, where children listened to the story of SINOTRUK's development, gained an appreciation of its striving spirit, and experienced China's automotive industry milestones and the company's manufacturing heritage and technology.
SINOTRUK said every leap forward depends on employees' dedication and the quiet support of thousands of families, which helped the Group achieve record-high operating performance this year as it approaches its centenary. Looking ahead, the company will deepen family-company cooperation and move forward in unity with employees and their families. Attendees also included heads of relevant SINOTRUK departments, trade union chairpersons or leaders at secondary-level units, and employee representatives from families of students who took the 2026 National College Entrance Examination.

Why this matters
Sinotruk, approaching its centenary, credits support from employees' families for another record-high operating performance this year. The open day strengthens family-company ties and promotes its culture of 'Work at SINOTRUK, Find Happiness at SINOTRUK.' For beginners, it illustrates how a large manufacturer engages its workforce through family-oriented events.
