What Happened

Sinotruk will make a major appearance at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 in Hannover, Germany, from September 14 to 20. The booth theme is 'Powering All, Delivering One,' reflecting its core value proposition for the global market. It will present an integrated delivery approach that connects vehicles, core technologies and energy replenishment rather than only supplying vehicles.

The Stellar Lineup
  • Five premium flagship SITRAK models spanning two powertrain pathways: battery electric and high-efficiency fuel-powered
  • Four core vehicle categories: tractor trucks, cargo trucks, dump trucks and premium light-duty trucks
  • All-new SITRAK 4×2 battery-electric tractor truck for zero-emission medium- and long-haul logistics
  • Four major core components: heavy-duty truck electric drive axle, battery pack, intelligent cockpit and ultra-fast charging stack
  • An integrated wind-solar-storage-charging-and-battery-swapping station solution

Headlining the display is the all-new SITRAK 4×2 battery-electric tractor truck, which Sinotruk says was developed to address high carbon emissions from medium- and long-haul road freight. It offers a driving range of more than 500 km, energy consumption of 110 kWh per 100 km and fast charging from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. A stacked-cell architecture and integrated battery-chassis design deliver long range and efficiency, while the home-like intelligent cockpit is meant to improve comfort on long-haul journeys.

In the core-components area, Sinotruk will display a heavy-duty truck electric drive axle with a peak axle assembly power of 470 kW, peak torque of 44,000 N·m and maximum transmission efficiency of 94.44%. The battery pack has an energy density of 160 Wh/kg, an IP68 protection rating and supports battery swapping. The ultra-fast charging stack has a maximum power output of 1,280 kW and is compatible with the CCS2 standard. The company's energy replenishment ecosystem integrates microgrid, energy storage, battery swapping, charging, mobile energy replenishment and energy management.

Key Milestones
  1. Since 2023

Sinotruk has delivered more than 100,000 new-energy commercial vehicles to global markets, with its products deployed in more than 50 countries and regions.

  2. September 14–20, 2026

IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 opens in Hannover, where Sinotruk presents its vehicles, core components and energy replenishment ecosystem.

Sinotruk says all products have undergone rigorous real-road validation, embodying its product philosophy: 'Beyond Testing—Proven on the Road.' At Hannover, the company will engage and exchange ideas with industry partners from around the world, using complete vehicles, core technologies and its full industrial chain as the foundation. It invites customers and partners to explore the green and digital transformation of commercial vehicles together.

Why this matters

Freight transport is a major source of carbon emissions, and Sinotruk is using one of the world's most influential commercial vehicle shows to position battery-electric trucks and integrated charging-and-swapping depots as the fix. For fleet operators and logistics customers, the company says the complete solution can cut costs, improve efficiency and support greener, digital smart logistics — backed by more than 100,000 new-energy vehicles delivered since 2023.
